Visweswara Reddy, a visionary engineering graduate driven by a mission to overcome recurring power shortages. What began as a modest transformer repair unit has evolved into a trusted name in India’s energy landscape — empowering progress, illuminating lives, and strengthening the nation’s power infrastructure.
Over the past three decades, SSEL Group has grown into a comprehensive energy solutions provider, offering expertise across Transformer, Conductor, and Reactor manufacturing, as well as clean energy generation through Solar, Wind, and Hydropower. Successfully repaired 20/25 MVA,132kV Transformer.
Commenced Transformers manufacturing at Kadapa upto 132kV class.
Type-tested 5 & 8 MVA. Started Mfg. Amorphous Transformers.
Exported Transformers to Africa, Europe, America and Middle East.
Manufactured 16MVA, 110/33kV Class; Milestone of supplying 400,000 Transformers
Acquired Indotech Transformer Limited & GE T&D Naini
Entered into the EPC business - Hydro & Smart Meters. Awarded MNRE - PLI Scheme.
Established Shuchi Manufacturing Plant & Indosol Solar Manufacturing Plant.
Entered historic JV for mfg Amorphous ribbon. Commissioned 1 GW cell-module line.
